About a year and a half ago, I found myself completely dragging on the floor with low energy around 2 pm. I was so frustrated with not having more energy due to having practiced Pilates and implementing overall healthy eating habits my whole adult life. By no means am I claiming to be a “perfect Pollyanna” when it comes to clean eating. I have a sweet tooth and appreciate chocolate’s role in my life along with pretty much any type of cookie. 😉 My toddler was well over 2.5 years at that point, so it wasn’t like I was sleep deprived like I had been during the baby years. I had my thyroid levels checked, and they were all in normal range. Also, I was always at risk for catching every little cold that blew my son’s way from preschool despite being the crazy neurotic hand washer that I am and consistent probiotic consumption. Moms, you hear me?! It takes a couple of years to build up immunity to the petri dishes of germs you are exposed to once your little one joins preschool. I knew the Goop Wellness line was pretty well noted for its famous instant facial mask, but it was its line of vitamins that caught my eye on Instagram.
The line of “Why am I so effing tired” naturally, spoke directly to my needs. At this point, I was desperate for any help. I looked thoroughly at the ingredients on their website. I wasn’t going to be sold to by just some stylish, hip packaging and a trendy tag line. I wanted something legitimate and scientifically sound, in addition to, pure and clean. Seeing that they are physician formulated with no additives or junky ingredients, I decided to give them a try. I ordered my first box. The “Why am I so Effing Tired” didn’t so effing work: not with energy nor immunity. I gave them a good 21 day trial without feeling any effects. I decided not to give up on the line just yet, and I ordered the “Balls in the Air” variation. OH MY GOODNESS, these vitamins CHANGED MY LIFE within just a couple of weeks! Despite giving me tons of energy, I experienced a new level of immunity that I thought only existed in my dreams! I have been on these vitamins now for over one year, and I haven’t caught nearly as many of my son’s colds. Last winter, when the scary flu epidemic was sweeping the nation and wiping out everyone near and far to us, my son and I did not catch it at all. This was miraculous given the winter before when I ended up with pneumonia from bronchitis that I caught from my little man’s first preschool acquired virus.
Having experienced such a drastic difference in results between the “Why am I so Effing Tired” and the “Balls in the Air,” I compared the two lines. The main differences that can be noted is the “Balls in the Air” variation has considerably much higher levels of Vitamin C and D. Well apparently, that made all the difference for me in terms of immunity and energy.
These vitamins quite literally revitalized me. Since consuming them for a significant period of time, I have found a new level of productivity that I had not known since having my son. Not only that, I haven’t lost days of my life due to being sick. Summary: if you are seriously struggling with energy or immunity give these vitamins a try. It will depend on how deficient you are in certain vitamins and minerals to know which line will work for you. If you are struggling with energy and immunity due to raising young children or busy traveling with work, I suggest going straight to “Balls in the Air” versus “Why am I so Effing Tired” line. Of course, be safe and consult your physician first.
Thank you Goop Wellness for providing a really quality, solid, effective product! Your vitamins quite literally gave me a renewed quality of life.
